With funding provided by Our Shared Ocean, an initiative from the Government of Ireland to build research partnerships with SIDS, Island Innovation has designed a comprehensive 7-week online course in Sustainable Development, running through April and May. This training course will provide participants with an understanding of the interplay between social, economic, and environmental factors crucial for fostering sustainable practices. This course is tailored to equip students (Post-graduate (MSc / PhD) SIDS national students currently enrolledin a PhD or Masters programme or Masters programme within a relevant SIDS institution) with a comprehensive understanding and practical skills essential for driving positive change within their communities and beyond, covering a diverse range of topics including sustainable business strategies, cross-sectoral collaboration, and global sustainability initiatives.
